News: Paul James experience the L’anza Emergency Service

Critically damaged hair should never be happening in this day and age, especially because of all the phenomenal products out there that are scientifically formulated to prevent this from happening in the first place, but the reality is that this is an every day reality across the globe.

Whether it be a chemical service, a color, a bleach bath, a relaxer, straightener or even just good old fashioned heat damage, critically damaged hair is one of the most expensive problems that the end consumer and salon faces.

It was a sunny but wintery morning when we arrived at the Paul James salon in the East of Johannesburg, South Africa. The salon was busy as usual, but there was an air of excitement for the Paul James launch happening that evening.

The salon was busy as usual, with the sound of hairdryers, laughter and upbeat music all around us. Shannon immediately got stuck in, unfurling the L’anza color swatch book and consulting with each of the models eagerly waiting for their turn to discuss what they would like to have done to their hair.

Before we knew it, the salon switched up a gear and every work station was carrying out Shannon’s instructions for each of the models. The first model had bleach blonde hair and was looking for a treatment that would prevent her hair from breaking any further.

She was introduced to the L’anza Emergency Service, a revolutionary 20 minute treatment that uses skin graft technology to form scaffolds in the cortex of the hair and using biomimetic technology, encourages the hair fibers to grow back together, permanently fixing any breakage in the hair from the inside.

All the stylists and our team watched carefully as the part A was applied to the hair and put under the drier for 10 minutes. We then asked a stylist from the Paul James group who was familiar with this model’s hair to blow dry the hair in order to confirm if she noticed a difference and compare it to her past experiences.

The stylist and model mentioned that whenever her hair was blow-dried, fine pieces of broken hair would fall on her shoulders, around the chair and on the floor like snow. Both stylist and model were shocked when they saw absolutely no breakage or fine pieces of hair falling as she blow-dried the hair!

When she was finished, we couldn’t believe the transformation. What was one dry white and brittle hair, was now silky soft, smooth, strong hair with a brilliant shine and intense overall condition.
